Cucina, everyone’s favourite neighbourhood Italian restaurant within the popular shoreline destination of Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, announces the launch of the ultimate breakfast of champions: The Long Breakfast. Crafted by the talented Cucina team, this menu redefines breakfast in Dubai with a unique twist on beloved classics that will delight food, and beverage, enthusiasts across town.
Available daily from 8am to 3pm, The Long Breakfast takes traditional and presents them with Cucina flair, delivering a one-of-a-kind breakfast adventure from morning through to late afternoon. Highlights include the di majale (AED 85) breakfast pizza with bacon, pork sausage, borlotti beans, tomato sauce, eggs and mozzarella; chef’s pancake (AED 60) with mascarpone gelato, fresh honey, roasted walnuts and mixed berries; a shakshuka all’italian (AED 75), which riffs of the Middle Eastern speciality but served in a pizza bread bowl; a fantastic uovo alla Benedict (Dhs85), served with crispy potatoes, Parmesan cheese sauce, tomato powder and prosciutto crudo; and a delightful specialita dello chef (AED 70) featuring a slab of homemade pork bacon with red capsicum and chilli jam.
Furthermore, diners can select from a wider variety of cold options, including a watermelon carpaccio (AED 60) with freshly-made in-house yoghurt gelato and mixed berries and the Cucina parfait (AED 45) with chia seeds, mango, granola, mixed nuts and yoghurt. There is also the option to keep it uniquely Italian, with a table selection of freshly baked Italian pastries and breads with homemade compotes, jams and spreads.
Like any authentic Italian piazza, Cucina’s ‘caffe’ selection offers a masterclass in coffee creation, with everything from espresso to flat whites served. Alternatively, one can square in on the smoothie selections, iced teas, healthy antioxidant shots, or spike their breakfast with a cocktail, mimosa, or carafe of Prosecco available on tap.
Helping to serve a slice of Italian dolce vita is Italian national and Chef de Cuisine, Emanuele Rizzo.
