Karnataka Tourism inaugurates the second edition of Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) 2025, at BIEC – Bengaluru International Exhibition Center.
Over 120 sellers, exhibitors, of Karnataka comprising of travel agents, tour operators, resort, homestays and other services promoting alongside with 200 hosted buyers from 30 countries are part of this.
Kite 2025 held around 15,000 meetings, which were fruitful for the stakeholders of Karnataka under tourism department. The expo is poised as a great future for Karnataka Tourism. Karnataka Tourism aims to make Karnataka the most sought after destination in the world, it aims to promote new destinations.
It was a very successful day with Total Appointments- 6832, Total Scans – 4818,
People not scanned – 42 (70%), International Buyers not used- 13, Domestic Buyer not used-29, Total buyer – 326.
Total Seller Meetings – 13,832, Total buyer meetings- 18256, Diffference- 4,424, Short of 75 meeting points if its B/C category then 37, if it’s a 25.
Karnatataka International Travel Expo was inaugurated by Sri H.K Patil Hon’ble Minister for Law & Parliamentry Affairs, Legislation, Tourism, Govt of Karnataka,along, Sri.Salma K Fahim, Smt Salma K. Fahim IAS, Secretary to Government, Tourism and Minority Welfare, and Haj and Waqf Dept, Govt. of Karnataka, Rajendra K.V IAS, Director Department of Tourism and Managing Director KSTDC, Mr. Shamraju, President KTS with the office bearers of KTS and other officials, were present on the occasion. Organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, and the ‘Karnataka Tourism Society,’ KITE 2025 promises to be a platform that brings together stakeholders from across the tourism and hospitality industries. The event aims to foster new partnerships, promote business opportunities, and spotlight Karnataka’s unique offerings, including its heritage, culture, adventure, wellness, and nature-based tourism”.
