Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 23, 2025: Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has announced the launch of the second phase of the Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Award, which includes the evaluation process for candidate applications and on-site visits to nominated schools, based on the criteria and pillars outlined in the model. The award aims to enhance the quality of education and improve learning outcomes in schools worldwide by implementing the Hamdan EFQM Model, an innovative framework developed under the supervision of an international team of experts, in line with global best educational practices and in collaboration with EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management).
The second phase of the Hamdan EFQM Global Educational Award consists of evaluation procedures and field visits. The assessment process follows the established criteria and key dimensions of the model.

The evaluation team will begin by reviewing the submitted applications through the AssessBase platform, operated by EFQM. This will be followed by remote orientation sessions before commencing four-day field visits. The evaluation process concludes with a comprehensive report for each school, with the final results expected to be announced in April.
H.E. Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, stated: “The Hamdan EFQM Award reflects the commitment of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences to recognizing and honoring outstanding institutions, initiatives, and individuals in the education sector.
