DUBAI, 24 January 2022 – A vibrant map of the world, created with calligraphy and featuring the word ‘Education’ in multiple languages, was completed on Monday as part of Expo 2020 Dubai’s programming for International Day of Education.
The UAE Ministry of Education brought together master calligraphy artist, Diaa Allam and a group of international students, who started work on the 7m x 3m mural, located close to the Sun Stage in Expo’s Opportunity District, during Expo 2020 Dubai’s Knowledge & Learning Week in December 2021.
