Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 22, 2025: Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has announced the opening of nominations for The Applied Research Global Award of Gifted Education and School Global Award Initiative of Gifted Education, organized by the World Giftedness Center—one of the foundation’s global initiatives. These prestigious awards aim to support and encourage outstanding efforts in the education and development of gifted individuals worldwide.
The Applied Research Global Award of Gifted Education targets researchers and PhD holders specializing in gifted education, talent development, and related fields. It aims to promote advanced scientific research that contributes to developing global gifted education systems by encouraging best research practices.

Meanwhile, the School Global Award Initiative of Gifted Education is designed for educators and school professionals who have implemented innovative projects or initiatives in gifted education. This award seeks to incentivize pioneering educational efforts that support gifted students and establish a comprehensive global model for implementing best practices in this field. The award is open to public and private schools—from kindergarten to pre-university level—that have made significant achievements in supporting gifted and high-achieving students worldwide.
Nominations for the Applied Research Global Award of Gifted Education opened on February 5 and will remain open until September 15, 2025.
