Dubai, UAE, 10 December 2024: Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has announced the commencement of the evaluation process for the third edition of the World Giftedness Center (WGC) Awards. This initiative aims to foster excellence and innovation in the field of gifted education and care worldwide.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, stated: “Today, we begin the evaluation process for the World Giftedness Center Awards, marking a significant step before the announcement of results. We anticipate outcomes that reflect the growth and progress achieved, as indicated by the evaluations of submissions from the previous phase.”
Dr. Al Suwaidi added, “These awards, targeting the global gifted education sector, align with our ongoing efforts to foster an advanced educational environment. The Applied Research Global Award of Talented Education encourages researchers globally, particularly those whose studies contribute significantly to advancing methods for educating and caring for gifted individuals, as well as developing talents across various related fields. Meanwhile, the School Global Award Initiative of Talented Education focuses on professionals in the school education sector, including teachers, school administrators, and specialists who have presented outstanding initiatives supporting the education and care of gifted students in public and private schools.
Each award carries a value of USD 25,000, granted annually to one winner per category. This year, the Applied Research Global Award of Talented Education received nine applications, while the School Global Award Initiative of Talented Education garnered two submissions. All entries undergo a rigorous evaluation process based on objective criteria to ensure fairness and transparency.
