Supply chain disruption has exposed the vulnerabilities associated with concentration of supply and distribution hubs. To build more resilient networks, businesses must explore alternative trade routes and collaborations in addition to existing set up. By tapping into emerging trade blocs and identifying new markets and transportation modes, companies can diversify their sourcing and distribution to minimise the impact of disruptions on their operations and customers.
This session will examine the new trade routes and emerging opportunities for supply chain diversification and risk mitigation. The potential for supply chain diversification in Asia, the Middle East and North America will be examined. Additionally, speakers will share the complexities of trade and logistics policies, tariffs and regulatory frameworks for providing a comprehensive understanding of these markets and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.
