30 August 2024 – The HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de TIME, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd, will run from 3 to 7 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), with a theme of “Be on Time”. Under the hybrid EXHIBITION+ format, online editions of the two fairs have already opened, running from 27 August until 14 September.
The fairs will bring together more than 700 global exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. Among the Watch & Clock Fair’s nine zones, a Pageant of Eternity zone will showcase high-end OEM and ODM watches, while Complete Watches, Pre-owned Watches, Clocks, Machinery and Equipment, OEM Smart Watches, Packaging and Display, Parts, Components and
Accessories and Trade Services will cover everything else that buyers need.
Salon de TIME will host more than 130 internationally renowned watch brands and designer collections across five zones: Chic & Trendy, Craft Treasure, Renaissance Moment, Wearable Tech and World Brand Piazza -sponsored by Prince Jewellery & Watch for the 14th consecutive year -which showcases luxury wristwatches from international brands.
The two fairs will be accompanied by various seminars and forums, including the Hong Kong International Watch Forum on 3 September and Asian Watch Conference on 4 September. The forum will explore demand for silver market products, reflecting this growing trend.
Fair activities will also include watch parades, product launches, an embroidery timepiece demonstration and buyer forums. The HK Watch & Design Competition, which is co-organised by the HKTDC, Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries, has invited artist Benjamin Yuen as a guest judge who will attend the awards ceremony on 7 September at Hall 3F, the Dial. All winning and shortlisted works will be shown during the exhibition. Exhibitors this year have been inspired by the Olympics. Memorigin Watch, for example, has invited table tennis stars and Paris Olympians Doo Hoi-kem and Wong Chun-ting to its press launch of 52 Hertz Tourbillon to share their views on the watch design.
Salon de TIME will be fully open to the public for free for the first time.
Prominent fashion event CENTRESTAGE runs concurrently at the HKCEC from 4 to 7 September, bringing together fashion brands and designer collections from around the world, creating synergies and more cross-industry business opportunities.
The opening ceremony will include a media tour on 3 September, during which exhibitors will introduce new and limited edition watches.
We invite you or your representative to join the opening ceremony, guided media tour and associated events.
