Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort announced the organization of the eleventh edition of “Caftan Mazagan” event in collaboration with the “White Hands” association and “Dar Nelya”. In addition to hosting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor, this exceptional edition highlights the beauty and diversity of the Moroccan caftan, with a special focus on strengthening cultural ties between Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The unique event will take place at the Mazagan beach & Golf Resort on Saturday, January 27, 2024, with the resort being the official partner for this occasion.
Through “Caftan Mazagan” event, the “White Hands” association expresses its respect and appreciation for Moroccan artisans, shedding light on their creativity in this artistic field. The event aims to inspire talented youth in the design field, making efforts to provide opportunities for them to showcase their artistic works to the Moroccan and Arab audience.
This year is notable as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be the guest of honor for the 2024 edition, represented by the media personality Lujain Omar and the renowned Saudi designer Reem Assilan. This honor emphasizes the importance of events in promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. The event will provide an opportunity for cultural and artistic dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Morocco, enhancing mutual communication and understanding between these rich cultures. With distinguished honorary guests, the event will witness active participation from influential figures in the fields of media and design, enriching the cultural experience for attendees and promoting the creative spirit of the event.
Ten Moroccan designers (Khawla Rjergui, Hajar Amri, Ashraf Daker, Ibtissam Haddad, Snehaji and Wadi Fatima Zahra, Hanane Lasseri, Zahra Lmahoul, Fatima El Gharib, Malika Aqil, Malika Mouzin) will participate in the event. These designers will showcase the latest designs and trends in Moroccan traditional fashion, highlighting the diversity and creativity in the world of Moroccan fashion.
The event will be hosted by the Moroccan television presenter Samira Al-Balwi and will feature performances from the dazzling artists Hatim Amour, Najat Aatabou, and Shaib Anwar, in addition to the participation of the artist Tamer Abdullah from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The “Caftan Mazagan” event serves as a platform for communication and exchange of ideas between talented Moroccan designers and honorary guests from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
