TrakCare unified health information system is now live at Al Khobar hospital.
Saudi Arabia, 23 October 2023: King Fahd Hospital of the University (KFHU), part of the Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU), ), Systems of Strategic Business Solutions (SSBS), and InterSystem, a creative data technology provider dedicated to helping customers solve the most critical scalability, interoperability, and speed problems, announced today that InterSystems TrakCare® unified Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system went live successfully at KFHU in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
KFHU has taken a significant leap forward in its pursuit of excellence by implementing TrakCare full clinical suite, patient administration system, and TrakCare Laboratory Enterprise® (TCLE), ushering in a new era of enhanced clinical services and improved patient safety.
The implementation of TrakCare represents a transformative milestone for KFHU, empowering healthcare professionals with a fully integrated system designed to optimize patient care and streamline clinical and operational processes throughout the whole healthcare journey.
The system’s robust capabilities facilitate seamless coordination among various departments, fostering a patient-centric approach that prioritizes patient well-being and satisfaction.
TrakCare’s user-friendly interface and real-time data accessibility enable clinicians to make more informed decisions, resulting in more accurate diagnoses, efficient treatments, and ultimately, improved patient safety.
Phase II of the digital health transformation program that TrakCare facilitates will include the implementation of Revenue Cycle Management capabilities (RCM), the integration with a dental system and the implementation of an Oncology Module.
TrakCare will also enable the hospital to integrate with NPHIES (the National Platform for Health and Insurance Exchange Services), which is a unified electronic services platform that aims to transform the healthcare sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by using the latest technologies in line with the Saudi “Vision 2030.
