With a large National pavilion and its top-tier products, the Republic of Lithuania is participating in the Gulfood 2023 exhibition, to take place at the Dubai World Trade Center from February 20-24.
The pavilion includes the leading products of dozens of Lithuanian companies in the field of food industries, which employ the latest technologies in agriculture, production, packaging, and export to the Gulf and international markets.
His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania, expressed his delight at his country’s participation at the Gulfood 2023 exhibition in Dubai, the world’s largest annual F&B sourcing event. He said, “Our participation in this event will expand horizons and opportunities for Lithuanian food products to the markets of the Gulf region, the Arab world, and the world. Commending the efforts of the organizers of the Gulfood exhibition for its importance in enhancing the cooperation between the food and beverage communities in the world.”
“The Gulfood 2023 exhibition elevates Dubai’s reputation as a global center for food and beverages and supports the UAE’s position in pioneering the process of transforming the sector and efforts to address the crises it faces globally.”, he added.
The Lithuanian companies include Sun365, a healthy ice cream made from freshly crushed fruits; Amber Pasta UAB, the most modern pasta producer in Lithuania; AUGA group, the largest organic food producer from field to shelf; Baltmilk, a manufacturer of tailor-made milk proteins in Northern Europe; Cerera foods, JSC, a well-established breakfast cereal manufacturer; Daumantai LT, one of the largest and state-of-the-art condiment production companies in the Baltic region; Ekko, Lithuania’s largest producer of organic cold-pressed Rapeseed / Canola oil and rapeseed cake; Golski LT, producer of exclusive and healthy confectionery products; Grainmore, one of the biggest modern oat and granola producers in Northern Europe; Groward Group, fastest-growing agriculture companies in Lithuania and leading egg producer in Baltic states; and many other leading companies participating in the exhibition at the Gulfood 2023.
On the other hand, there will be an inaugural program for the Lithuanian representation at the Conference Inspire accompanying the Gulfood 2023 exhibition, with the participation and presence of His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania and Dr. Antanas Venckus, Head of International Affairs and Export Promotion Unit, Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania.
During their participation in this event, the members of the Lithuanian delegation are encouraged to shed light on the extent of development of the food and beverage sector in Lithuania and the success stories that have been achieved in this sector, in addition to plans and the status of agro-food industries in the world today.
Mr. Laurynas Miškinis of the AUGA group will partake in the event to discuss the impacts of sustainable food production, regenerative approaches, and shorter food chains in the food industry. Also, walk through the importance of creating rigor and regulations in food certification and labeling. In addition, he will tackle the conscious food production, consumption supply, and demand projections, as well as the consumers’ education, trust-building, and transparency, which are crucial for the growth of this sector.
