His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania, bringing the esteemed Lithuanian companies, will pay a visit on February 19 to 20, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Establishing a stronger partnership with other countries, His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas will introduce Lithuanian companies, including Biosyyd, a health and wellness product; Grainmore, one of the biggest modern oat and granola producers in Northern Europe; Choco Group, an innovative manufacturer producing premium quality chocolate products; Marijampolės Pieno Konservai, UAB, one of the largest performing milk processors in Lithuania implementing state-of-the-art technologies; Naujasis Nevėžis, a leading producer of breakfast, cereals, bars, porridges and snacks in Baltic countries; Super Garden, a unique freeze-dried brand; Svencionys Herbal Factory, creates high-quality herbal products; Zenoo, offering freeze-dried raw food for furry babies, providing an ultimate source of nutrition, wellness, and longevity; last is the Magnus Logistics, a trusted Cargo and Digital Solutions provider.
The visit aims to strengthen the connection between the two countries. Saudi Arabia plays a significant part in global trade. Moreover, companies from Lithuania can expand in the worldwide market through this effort. There will be discussions of the development of the F&B industry. Also, success stories and future outlook discussions may produce positive outcomes.
The event will be the best opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and best practices to promote innovative technologies. The program also aims to discuss bilateral agricultural trade relations and export development initiatives between Saudi Arabia and Lithuania, which can enhance the program of innovations. Other talk points to be tackled are a collaboration between agricultural universities or research institutes in sectors of mutual interest and to talk about export permissions that includes eggs and poultry.
To take part in the delegation are His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania; Dr. Antanas Venckus, Head of International Affairs and Export Promotion Unit, Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania; Mr. Deividas Kliučinskas, Deputy Director of State Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Lithuania; His Excellency Ramūnas Davidonis, Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania; and Ms. Šarūnė Šablevičienė, Agricultural and commercial attaché of the Republic of Lithuania.
His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas will meet the Council of Chambers of Saudi Arabia, spearheaded by the Chairperson, His Excellency Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan on the opening event. On the same day, he also plans to meet His Excellency Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen A. AlFadley, from the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
On the 19th and 20th, His Excellency Kęstutis Navickas arrange a meeting with the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, His Excellency Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey and His Excellency Eng. Khalid Al Falih of Minister of Investment.
