Letters to Santa
Counting down to Christmas, guests can send special messages, good thoughts, wishes and love this Christmas. Let the Swissotel Elves help to deliver “Letters to Santa” from a special letterbox located in the lobby, as a lucky participant gets a chance to win an exciting gift daily.
The “Letters to Santa” advent calendar will be available in the lobby from November 27th to December 24th at 4 pm, announcing the lucky winners daily. The winner of the most heartfelt letter to Santa will be announced on 25th December 2022 on its Instagram page @swissotelalghurair.
Magical Christmas Tree-Lighting Ceremony, with LINDT Masterclass
Cherish a magical evening with friends and family as the beautiful 20-feet Christmas Tree in the lobby lights up for the season, adorned in beautiful decorations of red and golden. With melodies of the Christmas carols echoing in the lobby, delicious pass-around of canapés and Festive drinks, and a gingerbread house making workshop, guests can indulge in a Festive evening of love and laughter.
On that day Guests can also join a special Masterclass with LINDT’s Master Chocolatier, Matthew Müller, explore the craftsmanship of chocolate, and take home some delicious chocolate baubles.
The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 29th November at the hotel lobby from 6 p.m. onwards, and can be availed by all paying guests of the Festive Afternoon Tea experience at AED 175.
The Masterclass will take place on November 29 at 3 pm and is priced at AED 99 per person.
Throughout the Festive Season, guests can also purchase delectable Festive treats, cookies, Yule Log, White Chocolate Mousse cup, milk chocolate pecan crème brulée at the Festive Confectionery Pop-up with LINDT Yasmine Lounge from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from 20th November to 8th January.
Festive Turkey Takeaway and Free-Delivery
This season, let the expert chefs at Swissotel Al Ghurair prepare a feast for your loved ones, that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home or office. Available to pre-order, Traditional Roasted Turkey is cooked to perfection and is carefully packaged with all the traditional trimmings and favorites like Roasted Chestnuts, Brussels Sprouts, Herb-roasted potato, along with homemade festive desserts.
- Festive Turkey is available for pick-up at Yasmine Lounge, as well as for free delivery at any location in Dubai, from 20th November until 25th December, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Priced at AED 499 for a 4kg turkey complete with all trimmings for up to six persons and AED 599 for a 6kg turkey serving up to ten persons.

Sinfully delicious LINDT Festive Afternoon Tea
Celebrating the Season of gifting and treats, Swissotel Al Ghurair presents a delicate Afternoon Tea with decadent Festive notes. The specially curated menu presents exquisite holiday treats of Smoked Salmon Pinwheels, Torched Duck Breast with Apricot Chutney Skewers, Warm Scones with Mascarpone Cream & Blueberry Compote, Baked Turkey Empanadas. Adding to the sweet indulgences, the menu also features Chocolate Fudge Cake, red velvet Swiss Rolls and Pistachio and berry Cheesecake Shooters, along with a selection of Hot Chocolates, luxury teas and coffees.
Also adding to the Festive spirit, taking place on 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th December children can spend time at Swissotel’s Gingerbread House making workshop, and get a chance to meet Santa while their parents sip and savour the festivities. The pastry chefs will teach the “Little Explorers” how to build their own gingerbread creations with icing and sweet decorations.

Christmas Eve Dinner includes a delicious buffet including Festive Specialties of Turkey Roulade stuffed with dates, walnuts, cranberry and apricot sauce, Crusted Lamb Rack, and sweet treats like cherry filles dark chocolate Yule.
