Cybersecurity Innovation Series (CSIS) – Tunisia, Government Partner -, Agence Nationale de la Sécurité Informatique (ANSI-TunCert), Technical Partner – Huawei, Gold Sponsor – Trend Micro, took place on 16 September 2022 at Movenpick Gammarth, Tunis, Tunisia.
The forum included working sessions with the participation of 30 experts in the cybersecurity sector and the attendance of more than one hundred fifty people who showed their interest in the digital economy, during which they shed light during 15 sessions on the latest innovations and discussed the measures taken by the government and private institutions to address cybersecurity challenges, and explored ways to develop information infrastructure and expand and improve them in the ever-evolving world of the Internet.
The Tunisian Chapter hosted dignitaries such as Dr. Yacine Djemaiel, Director General at Agence Nationale de la Sécurité Informatique (ANSI-TunCert), Eng. Bassam Maharmeh, President of Jordan’s National Cyber Security Center, Mohd Shamir Hussain, Senior VP of Cyber Security Malaysia and the Co-Chair of the OIC – CERT 5G Security Working Group, Dr. Ahmed Ali, VP & Head of EG Cert Egypt (NTRA), Aymen Mohamed, Department Manager LibyaCERT at National Information Security and Safety Authority (NISSA) and, Dr. Ali Abdulhafid, Director General Administration of e-Services Directorate at General Authority for Communications and Informatics (GACI)

In addition to that, the summit hosted the Cybersecurity Innovation Series Awards where Agence Nationale de la Sécurité Informatique (ANSI-TunCert) won the award for Best Cyber Awareness Raising Entity of the Year 2022, Egypt National Telecom Regulatory Authority won the award for Best Cybersecurity Influencing Entity of the Year 2022, Best in Class Cyber Infrastructure award was won by Huawei Northern Africa, Mr. Mohd. Shamir Hashim from OIC – CERT Permanent Secretariat & Co-Chair of OIC – CERT 5G Working Group won the award for Cybersecurity Leader of the Year 2022, last but not the least TrendMicro bagged the award for the Best in Class Cloud Workload Protection Platform of the Year 2022.
