Abu Dhabi – May 2022: After 3 days of the summit, EVIS came to an end on Wednesday, May 25th with great success and appreciation. H. E. Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to UAE, visited the exhibition on its last day and had a tour with the escorting delegates.
The summit that is organized by Nirvana Holding, received an excessive deal of attention from government and private sectors, especially with the dialogues that were created as sidelines of the summit.
Focusing on sustainable and clean transportation, many seminars and conferences were held as part of the program, featured by key influencers in both EV and transport industries.
The summit received over 5000 visitors on the span of 3 days, a number that is expected to double in the second and future editions. Many topics and concerns were addressed with the industry stakeholders, to draw the attention of the importance of an eco-transportation system, a cause that will require massive efforts on strategic and operational levels.
The last day also witnessed many MoU signing ceremonies, one of them is between Al Damani, the first electric car that is fully made in UAE, and Takaful insurance.
On their participation, Mr. Andre Kaufung, Managing Director at Charin said: “It was a really interesting and well-organized experience, especially that it made us understand not only Abu Dhabi, but also the GCC area, throughout the deep talks with different stakeholders. These talks draw a great picture about the potentials of the region that we will discuss with our associations.”
