DUBAI, 12 January 2022 – Expo 2020 Dubai is inviting visitors to shimmy their way into January with a fresh duo of open-air DJ events at the Jubilee Stage announced for the next two Friday nights.
On 14 January, visitors can get the weekend started with DJ Zubair. Seven days later, on 21 January, DJ Khaled Mamdouh will keep the momentum going on the decks.
Zubair Shaikh, also known as DJ Zubair, is a household name in the Bollywood music scene for his dancefloor-magnet mixing skills. UAE clubbers will also recognise him from the Dubai-based DJ’s performances at fashion nights at Privé at Hotel Armani. Expect a unique blend of genres, including remixes of Bollywood tracks, house and R&B.
DJ Khaled Mamdouh helped visitors to ring in the New Year at Expo 2020, and the Egyptian returns to Jubilee Stage for what promises to be a pulsating set melding the four-on-the-floor signature beat of traditional house with melodies and basslines inspired by jazz and funk.
DJ Zubair plays at 2200 GST on 14 January. DJ Khaled Mamdouh plays at 2200 GST on 21 January. Entry is free for all Expo 2020 ticket holders, but visitors are advised to arrive early.
