DUBAI, 7 January 2022 – Saudi singer Ayed Yousef thrilled crowds in a concert at Expo 2020 Dubai’s Jubilee Stage on Friday.
His performance was part of Saudi Arabia’s National Day celebrations, which saw cultural events throughout the day. Dressed in traditional clothing, the talented young singer delighted visitors with his melodic vocals, sung to the beat of Daf drums and an Arab orchestra as the audience swayed to the lilting tunes and waved their Saudi flags.
Yousef is widely known for his collaborative use of instruments, sounds, genres and vocals. He has a unique style, which is influenced by his interest in exploring different cultures. He gained recognition in 2016 with his debut album, winning awards and recognition across the Middle East. The hit single ‘Fman Allah’, featured on the album, ranked as the highest-viewed single online across the Arab world for several weeks.
